The 2018-2019 English Premier League is here, and if you weren’t too bored by our 2018-2019 EPL Season Preview, then it is time for our Premier League Predictions Week 1.

Each week, and midweek, we will bring our unique look at the EPL, starting with this week’s Premier League Predictions Week 1.

But anyone can offer up predictions, each week we will put our Premier League predictions up against a guest tipster, not necessarily a person, but based on a statistic which has varying links to football.

Like this week for our Premier League Predictions Week 1 we put our selections up against the opening game form of each Premier League side for the past 5 seasons of opening day fixtures.

We’ll also offer up a few other bits and pieces for the first weekend of the Premier League.

Premier League Predictions Week 1 Gurgler v Opening Game Form.

Background: This one is easy. We have taken the result of each team from the opening day of the past five seasons, and added up the points (3pts for a win, 1 pt for a draw) and the team who has the most points gets the selection.

Our selections are based on a mixture of listening to multiple podcasts and reading way too many websites, added with ignorance to all of that with our own thoughts.
