It’s been a while, but our pointless poll returns for the World Cup, and it is about time to settle the great football debate of whether Ariaga is the greatest, or if Ariaga II is the main man.
What better argument to settle we think. For far too long the debate has raged over which player’s autograph is the most prestigious, so once and for all our Pointless Poll will sort it out.
If you have no idea what we are talking about, and even if you do, the following clip sums up part of the World Cup for neutrals nicely.
Sadly the Simpsons prediction of a match up of which team will be the greatest on earth out Mexico and Portugal can’t happen now Portugal are out of the World Cup, but you the reader can still determine which one of Ariaga and Ariaga II is the best.
Those in the Ariaga camp have always claimed he is the best simply because he is first in the cavalcade of great football players, and is such a superstar, he doesn’t need a last name or a number. Much like the great Pele. He also has the stare of steel that only the very best possess. Although some claim that he is a little too arrogant because he is the first player listed in the Simpsons bit. That arrogance doesn’t sit well with Bariaga, Aruglia and Pizzoza.
But try and argue those facts to the Ariaga II supporters who think he is the next King of the Kitchen. Those people feel that he has the charm and is way more likeable than Ariaga. He is often described as the more attractive of the two. We are still undecided on that one.
So while other better website argue about the GOAT tag for Messi and Ronaldo, we’re all about Ariaga and Ariaga II.
