The story…
Portugal were involved in the game of the first round, and had to rely upon a brilliant free kick from their megastar Ronaldo to gain a point after initially blowing their lead against Spain, and really can’t afford another one pointer here. Morocco were actually the better side in their opener against Iran, but cost themselves a point, and us a healthy payday, with the sweetest of header leading to a own goal and a first up loss. If Morocco can cause an upset here or even keep Portugal, one of the more straight forward groups could really be in chaos as the knockout stage looms.
