In another first for Jerk of the Month, May 2018’s vote has ended in a four way tie.
It looked a quality field that would be hard to separate at the beginning of the voting period, and that is exactly what played out.
The 4 way tie saw a diverse range of Jerks, from Sporting Governing bodies to an entertainment personality, and to the CEO of the NRL to the former CEO of the Markle household.
It is hard to argue that the 4 way tie isn’t justified.
And with Bernard Tomic demanding selection and already included in June 2018’s calculations for his French Open work, before Wimbledon, we’re sure June 2018’s Jerk of the Month poll will be even bigger.
MAY 2018 JERKS OF THE MONTH WINNERS
CRICKET AUSTRALIA
Fresh after signing a deal to finally take Cricket off Channel Nein,which earned a Hero of the Month nomination, they have reclassified as Jerk in May 2018.
Why? Well, fresh after signing a massive TV deal that Cricket in Australia really didn’t deserve, they have canned the northern Australian Test Series because it was going to be too expensive, despite signing with Fox Sports/Seven for $1.2bn.
You cheap arse Jerks.
And don’t you even think about signing Michael Slater.
DELTA GOODREM
A return to Jerk of the Month for Goodrem, who has been nominated for being on two FTA channels at once.
Australians have an in built Goodrem tolerance level, which unfortunately was blown off the charts when she featured in two FTA prime time shows at the same time.
Another reason to praise Foxtel.
TODD GREENBERG
The Head of the NRL is becoming a bigger Jerk every day.
Rugby League isn’t going that well, but he is the reason why everyone is up in arms. Mostly because of being completely ignorant of most things people want. Now the people can vote on him.
MEGHAN MARKLE’S DAD
And to the other family members who tried yo mke it all about them.
As if it wasn’t bad enough to have 24 hour coverage on most channels about the Royal Wedding, then we have to put up with a bunch of Jerks from the bride’s family trying to steal the limelight.
They have stolen a Jerk of the Month nomination.
