EPL Matchday 32 Predictions – Gurgler v Chocolate

Here are The Gurgler’s EPL Matchday 32 Predictions and as ever, we have our weekly tipping competition against a different opponent, and this week we put our tips up against chocolate consumption in the U.K. just time for Easter.

Before we do, here’s our mini preview of EPL Matchday 32.

THINGS WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO FOR THE EPL MATCHDAY 32 AHEAD

FTA GAME in AUSTRALIA – CRYSTAL PALACE v LIVERPOOL
Early Saturday Evening Kick Off – SBS TV

If Zaha plays for Crystal Palace this game will be most entertaining, although will still have plenty to offer if he doesn’t. Zaha looks doubtful, which is a shame. But the man who should be Player of the Year – Salah – should be there and he alone is worth the time spent some days.

CHELSEA v SPURS

A massive game for the final Champions League spot. A Chelsea win will see them get within 2 points of Spurs in fourth.

WEST HAM v SOUTHAMPTON

The first in what will be a pile of relegation Six Pointers over the closing weeks of the season. Given the fans reaction to the Burnley loss last time out at the Olympic Stadium, (and a subsequent nomination for Jerks of the Month for March) West Ham players dare not lose as Southampton would leapfrog them and push the Hammers into the bottom three.

BOLD PREDICTIONS FOR EPL MATCHDAY 32

SURPRISE OF THE WEEKEND

THINGS WE AREN’T LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS WEEKEND

Man Utd v Swansea and the subsequent Mourinho diatribe.

GURGLER’S EPL TIPPING COMPETITION

Each week we will put our tips up against an opponent, just like Lawro’s tips on the BBC Football website. But instead of having famous comedian and musicians we’ve never heard of, we put our tips up against a different type of opponent.

We determine tips based on some ridiculous premise or statistic, and we then see if arse truly does beat class.

This week’s opponent tips are based on the weather ahead for this weekend.

OUR EPL MATCHDAY 32 PREDICTIONS

Onto our selections for the round ahead, with added scores to take on Lawro from the BBC.   Our bold predictions for score are alongside our weekly tips.

We bounced back to 6/10 last week, and time to build on that now and get to that 40 point safety barrier.

LIVERPOOL to Crystal Palace (4-2)
LEICESTER to beat Brighton (3-0)
SOUTHAMPTON to beat West Ham (1-0)
MAN UTD to beat Swansea (1-0)
DRAW – Newcastle v Huddersfield (0-0)
BOURNEMOUTH to beat Watford (2-1)

THIS WEEK’S OPPONENT:

EPL MATCHDAY 32 PREDICTIONS v UK CHOCOLATE CONSUMPTION

This weekend is the Easter Weekend, a celebration of 4 days off , trying to cram as much sport as possible in those 4 days, and chocolate. Usually a month’s worth in a few days.

So in our attempt to to find a topical statistic to base opponent tips on, we have found something on the UK’s chocolate eating by region. Thanks to the website bakeryinfo.co.uk we now have the percentage of people in the UK that have chocolate every day. And the less eaten the better for playing Football we guess, so that team gets the tip.

LIVERPOOL (15%) to beat Crystal Palace (26%)
BRIGHTON (12%) to beat Leicester (15%)
SOUTHAMPTON (12%) to beat West Ham (26%)
MAN UTD (15%) to beat Swansea (16%)
HUDDERSFIELD (11%) to beat Newcastle (17%)
BOURNEMOUTH (16%) to beat Watford (26%)
DRAW – WBA (15%) v Burnley (15%)
DRAW – Man City (15%) v Everton (15%)
STOKE (15%) to beat Arsenal (26%)
DRAW – Chelsea (26%) v Spurs (26%)

Percentage of everyday chocolate consumption in brackets.
