Barnaby Joyce, Anthony Mundine & Bernard Tomic – Joint Jerk of the Month Winners – February 2018

The many reader of The Gurgler have spoken, and the Jerk of the Month award has been shared again, like the 2017 Annual poll. This time the award is shared between Barnaby Joyce, Anthony Mundine and serial Jerk winner Bernard Tomic.

Two of the three have been rewarded for their time on the Celebrity jungle show, proving most of their awful qualities again for all to see. Tomic as a moody, sulking quitter, and “The Man” as a person whose opinion very few care about. Both however are now confirmed as Jerks. As if they weren’t already.

The third winning cog in the February 2018 Jerk of the Month award is Barnaby Joyce, a man who put Australian politics on the map. Well done.

For Bernard Tomic it is two wins in consecutive months to start 2018, fresh on the annual award in 2017. Barnaby Joyce and Anthony Mundine have plenty of jerk left in them in general, but will we hear from them again in 2018. Barnaby Joyce is sitting up the back of parliament with Tony Abbott, who will no doubt be a good influence in jerk, but Anthony Mundine might be too busy fighting hopeless bouts against nobodies and making his comeback to rugby league to find the time to be a jerk.

There is no doubt we’ll see Tomic again in the monthly awards.

He can’t help himself and neither can you.

Further back were Anyone Involved in Married at First Sight and Donald Trump, both deserving of the ultimate award but fell short. Both are similarly awful. Both involve a large amount of people, both involve truly awful people.

Finally, two Winter Olympic themed round out the Jerk of the Month nominations. We won’t see them for another four years, no matter the amount of Red Bull.
