With the outstanding news that Bernard Tomic is heading into the jungle for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, we think it is time to dedicate a theme week to man who provides so much, and asks for so little. So join us in celebrating National Bernard Tomic week.
His arrival in the B Grade Celebrity show gives the best possible chance for that show to be truly interesting and watchable, but one wonders how long Bernard Tomic will last, and what could possibly be the final straw.
Given that playing Tennis seems to give him the shits, it is hard to believe that being forced to do half the stuff in the jungle will not send his Ber-Nard O Meter into the red and beyond.
Or that anyone else there will be a big fan.
Who knows, with no minders Bernard Tomic may jsut come across as human.
Either way, it is well worth celebrating the big man, so we say enjoy our latest theme week Celebrate Bernard Tomic Week.
…..and while you’re here, you can vote for him in the January Jerk of the Month voting – closes Jan 31.
MEMORABLE BERNARD TOMIC QUOTES
To get you into the mood for Celebrate National Bernard Tomic Week, have a few of his finest.
“He’s annoying—I know he’s my father—but he’s annoying me. I want him to leave but how’s that possible?” – The 19-year-old asked a chair umpire to remove his father and coach, John Tomic (L), from the stands at the 2012 Miami Masters.
“I will put my b***s in your mouth. And I will give you some money to make you feel good.” – Lashing out at a spectator during the 2016 U.S. Open, who Tomic claimed was provoking him.
“I don’t care about that match point—would you care if you were 23 and worth over $10 million?” – After throwing away the final point of a 6-2, 6-4 match in the first round of the 2016 Madrid Masters.
“Yeah, I did get to the court prior to him very early, and unfortunately I had to stand on court like a retard.”
“Throughout my career I’ve given 100 per cent. I’ve given also 30 per cent. But if you balance it out, I think all my career’s been around 50 percent and I haven’t really tried and I’ve achieved all this. So it’s just amazing what I’ve done.” After losing some game somewhere.
“I just count money, that’s all I do, I count my millions. You go make $13 or $14 million. Good luck, bye.” After failing to qualify for the Australian Open and now we know why.
