NRL Round 4 Results Round Up – Best, Blurst, Burning Questions & Team O Week

Time to go through the NRL Round 4 results and pick out the more interesting things. Good things comes in threes they say.

Sure there will be reviews and thoughts on the NRL Round 4 results everywhere on many fine websites and news locations.

It is also available on our website as well for those with slightly and much greater expectations.

We provide our thoughts on the best and blurst of the weekend, as well as provide our NRL Round 4 Team of the Week. Plus our 5-4-3-2-1 points for the best overall player this week contributing to the inaugural Shearer medal.

BEST BIT OF THE WEEKEND

Kalyn Ponga and Gideon Gela-Mosby finally getting their chance to play together. The match wasn’t bad either.

BLURST OF THE WEEKEND

News about Wayne Bennett’s off field exploits. Meh.

QUESTIONS FROM NRL ROUND 4 RESULTS….

1 – Is Ivan Cleary waiting for a better offer than the Tigers?

2 – Is that better offer going to the Bulldogs as Hasler is due to get the dreaded “full support of the board”.

3 – Are real rugby league fans that interested in Wayne Bennett’s off field life? And that interested in anything Paul Kent has to say?

4 – Keary and Pearce for NSW Origin?

5 – Two of the Top 4 look sorted in Roosters and Storm. Who will join them?

6 – Does the Marvel Super Hero round suck complete arse?

….AND THE INSTANT ANSWERS

1/2 Maybe Ivan Cleary is waiting for a better offer. Perhaps the solutions could be that Hasler quits the Bulldogs and goes to the Tigers, a side desperately in need of cleaning up their defence. Then Cleary will go to the Bulldogs, a team in need of a spark of something new.

3 – Not really. News Ltd would argue for both.

4 – Queenslanders say yes.

5 – We say Penrith and Canberra.

6 – Absolutely. We already ranted about this earlier.
