Polls can be very useful, interesting, and even important as many a bad poll has seen a change of Prime Minister in Australia the last few years. At The Gurgler we never strive to be useful, interesting and especially important, but we do love a poll.
Our biggest poll is our annual Person of the Year – won in 2015 by Willie Minoga – but one a year is not enough, so we introduce our monthly Pointless Poll. The home of the discussion and voting of the least vital question that requires an answer.
For this time we are doing what we do best, remembering the forgotten, the less interesting things to rate, and there’s nothing less memorable than the old standard Potato. Whilst eating these is quickly becoming the equivalent of Greenhouse Gases with added Ozone layer vanishing thanks to food and health hipsters.
But there’s still a lot to like. Such variety, so versatile, and so many different types with great names, isn’t it about time that the greatest Potato was decided once and for all.
Here’s the rundown of the Top 10 decided by us – why not throw your support behind one or a few. Or choose your own courtesy of the very handy work below by Potatoes South Australia.
