FOOTBALL | 2025 Football Draws Tips of the Week – March 14-17

It’s a change of season, but that doesn’t mean the football season has to change yet, and there are still plenty of draws to be had, and who doesn’t love a football draw. They say there can only be winners and losers in sport, but of course they’re wrong, there’s always the draw, and who doesn’t love a draw where everyone wins. Those winners include canny punters who look for value, and here to help is our Football Draws Tips of the Week – March 14-17.

Our resident draw expert Frankington Stanley runs his keen eye over the many football divisions around the world to find the best draws for you. He’s sort of like the John West of Football draws, he hates Dog Salmon and lop sided fixtures. Frankington spent the off season ignoring the Euros to continent-hop across dozens of countries to assess the best league and teams for draws.

Frankington Stanley is not fussy, no country or continent is out of bounds, and the more obscure the better. And some of them are quite obscure. They don’t even feature on the Who Scored website.

So get yourself ready for another weekly serving of the finest Football Draw tips from all over the world, where The Gurgler and Frankington Stanley take the stale out of stalemate.

It’s all you can eat draws. Grab a spoon.

DRAW OF THE WEEK

SERIE A – ATALANTA v INTER

There’s been a few draws in this clash when Atalanta play at home, not overall though as Inter have won the last six. Atalanta’s last form is DWDWDW, so draw is the next result in that sequence. Atalanta have also drawn their last three at home and four of the last five. Inter’s last four away games ended DLLD.

OTHER DRAW HIGHLIGHTS

SERIE A – VENEZIA v NAPOLI

For starters, Venezia have drawn their last three games. The second last game between these sides played at Venezia was a draw, although that was in 2003 in Serie B. Venezia have also drawn three of their last five at home. Napoli’s last three games away is DDL.

LA LIGA – MALLORCA v ESPANYOL

The last game at Mallorca ended in a draw. Not enough for you eh? Mallorca have drawn their last three games. And their last two games at home and four of their last six games at home. Espanyol have won only once away this season in 12 games and drew away three games ago.

CHAMPIONSHIP – SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY v SHEFFIELD UTD

The last game between these sides ended in a tight 1-0 win to Sheffield Utd at home, but the three games before that ended in a draw. And being a derby it is always tight. Even if these teams are at opposite ends of the table. Sheffield Wednesdays last five form at home is DDDLL. Forget that Sheffield United are the best away team in the Championship this season.

BUNDESLIGA – MAINZ v FREIBURG

Freiburg have drawn their last two and last one away. And the H2H shows four draws in the last six games between these sides. Two  of the last three at Mainz were draws too.

SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE – KILMARNOCK v HIBERNIAN

The last three games between these sides ended in a draw. Also, Hibernian’s last four away form is DDDW.
