The games are coming thick and fast after the first midweek round, so there’s no time to lose. Talking of thick and fast and speed, we’re flying through our Premier League Predictions Week 15 Express Edition.

Each gameweek in the Premier League in 2024-25 we offer up a stat filled prediction preview, with some barely interesting stats and visuals, just enough to bluff your way through various tipping competitions or betting shops.

Barely Interesting Premier League Stats Week 15

For below stats we are using Monday to Thursday as midweek games.

EVE v LIV – Everton have lost both of their games v big six opposition this season by 4-0. They play the remaining big six clubs over the next four games. Everton have lost only two of the last 12 home games v Liverpool, while Liverpool have only lost one. There have been draws across the other games. Six of those were 0-0. The last five Saturday games in a row at Everton have been draws.

AVL v SOT – Aston Villa have won the last three games v Southampton by a combined 6-0. Aston Villa have also won the last three Saturday games v Southampton at any ground by a combined 6-0. Southampton have lost all five games to mid eight teams this season.

BRE v NEW – No team has scored more goals at home this season than Brentford with 22 in seven games. They have also conceded a fourth worst total of goals at home. Newcastle have won the last four league games v Brentford. Newcastle are unbeaten in ten games v Brentford at either ground – W9 D1 on a Saturday.

CRY v MCI – Crystal Palace last won at home v Man City in 2015, it has been W8 D2 since then to Man City. Worse still, Man City have won their last eight games at Crystal Palace on a Saturday.

MUN v NFO – Man Utd have won six straight home games v Nottingham Forest. Forest are still the only team to beat Liverpool this season. 

FUL v ARS – Fulham won this fixture last season when it was at Fulham and on a Sunday. Fulham are D1 L2 v big six clubs. Fulham are W2 L1 v top six sides at time of fixture. Arsenal are W2 D1 v London clubs this season. Fulham are W2 D2.

IPS v BOU – The last four games between Ipswich and Bournemouth ended in a draw, and Ipswich won the three games before that. Ipswich have lost just one of their last 15 home games v Bournemouth (W10 D4 L1). Ipswich’s only win this season has come on a Sunday and they are undefeated on Sunday W1 D2.

LEI v BHA – Brighton are undefeated in their last four v Leicester W2 D2. But Liecester are undefeated in their last six games at home to Brighton W3 D3.

TOT v CHE – Chelsea have lost just one of their last 11 league games v Spurs (W8 D2 L1). Chelsea have also won four of the last five league games at Spurs. Tottenham have won the last game between the sides on a Sunday.

WHU v WOL – West Ham did the double over Wolves last season. West Ham have also won their last four home games v Wolves by a combined 10-0. West Ham have also won five of six home games v Wolves on a Monday.
