Here you’ll find the choicest cuts of barely interesting stats on offer for every fixture this gameweek. Some may assist your tipping, others are barely worth a grunt. Either way, they are all yours.
LEI v NFO – Leicester have lost just one of their last seven home games (W4 D2 L1) v Nottingham Forest. Leicester have won all three matches between these sides on a Monday, but a combined 10-2. Leicester currently have the best conversion rate of Shots on Target to Goals Scored (48%).
MCI v SOT – Man City last lost to Southampton at home in 2004. It has been W12 D2 since. Man City have scored 40 goals in that run, but Southampton have only failed to score three times in that same run.
AVL v BOU – Aston Villa have won 3-0 and 3-1 over Bournemouth at home since their Bournemouth’s promotion to the Premier League.
BRE v IPS – Brentford have won their last three home games v Ipswich to nil. Ipswich currently have the lowest shots per game stat, the only team under 10 shots on average.
BHA v WOL – Brighton are unbeaten in their last five games v Wolves (W4 D1). Brighton have scored 16 goals in that run, and the last game was 0-0. Based on ladder position coming into the game, Wolves have already played top six opposition five times and help themselves to another this weekend.
EVE v FUL – Fulham (W3 D2) are unbeaten in their last five games v Everton. Fulham have won the last three games v Everton away. Only Liverpool are ahead of Fulham for Expected Points this season so far.
WHU v MUN – West Ham have won their last two games v Man Utd at home to nil. Man Utd are yet to win on a Sunday this season (D1 L2).
CHE v NEW – Newcastle last won at Chelsea in 2012. It’s been W11 D1 since. Chelsea (W3 D4) have never lost to Newcastle at home on a Sunday.
CRY v TOT – Tottenham have won five in a row v Crystal Palace. These teams have played a combined six games on a Sunday this season, and Spurs have just the one win, which is one more than Crystal Palace.
ARS v LIV – Arsenal are unbeaten in their last four league games v Liverpool (W2 D2). Arsenal have lost just two home games on a Sunday v Liverpool since 2000 – (W8 D4 L2). Liverpool are the only team with a 100% win record v top six teams this season (top six at time of fixture). Arsenal (W1 D2) are one of only three other teams that are yet to lose on a Sunday.
