Midweek Football Street Money Tips – League Cup & Serie A Edition

The League Cup returns, and it may be a distraction from the EPL’s biggest stories from the weekend – Mourinho within one more incident of the arse at Chelsea, Liverpool draw again under Jurgen Klopp, Wayne Rooney being the scapegoat, people questioning if this is Arsenal’s year – again.

These big teams (minus in form Spurs who were bundled out last round by rivals Arsenal) have all made the fourth round, and it is higher on quality than usual. Not that there’s no room for upsets, but it seems less likely than usual. The big teams have all avoided each other in this round, setting up the next rounds nicely.

As ever, we throw our money where our mouth is – into the gutter and street, and it’s our biggest price yet.

(All tips at end of regular time – couldn’t do multi with eventual winners thanks to betting company that is behind the times)

The Italian Serie A trying to compete with the EPL and Spanish La Liga is doing just that with the tightest top 5 of the big European leagues. With the advantage of reigning champions Juventus’ poor start to the season being offered to the other big teams in the league, 5 of them have accepted this with thanks. The best of them all Roma have two points gap to other big names Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina, and Lazio. This quintet have a three point gap to 6th and another 3 points covers all the way down to 12th (Juventus).

We tip some of those big names to continue their winning ways with a sneaky midweek multi.
