- The last seven games between Chelsea and Liverpool in all competitions have ended in a draw.
- It’s now ten in a row for Man City v Burnley.
- Arsenal’s last loss at home to Nottingham Forest pre-dates the Premier League in 1989 – their record over this streak is W9 D4

FRIDAY 7:45PM – NOTTINGHAM FOREST v SHEFFIELD UTD
The last time these teams were in the same division they played each other four times. Better still in 1922/23 they played each other six times. The last time Sheffield United beat Nottingham Forest away on a Saturday was in the Premier League…of 1993. It’s been W4 D3 since for Forest. But this game is on a Friday and Sheffield United are unbeaten in three games v Nottingham Forest on a Friday (W2 D1).

Premier League is stealing the Championship’s Friday night thunder by having more Friday night games and this one even looks like a Championship fixture. Neither team won or were disgraced last weekend.
SATURDAY 3PM – FULHAM v BRENTFORD
Both of last season’s Fulham v Brentford games ended up 3-2 to the home side.

Fulham 1 Brentford 1
A west London derby featuring Fulham, who continue to deft expectations and expected goals against. Brentford remain competitive despite Sir Bets-a-lot Ivan Toney being unavailable.
SATURDAY 3PM – LIVERPOOL v BOURNEMOUTH
Liverpool (W8 D1) have never lost at home to Bournemouth. Mo Salah has scored eight goals in eight games v Bournemouth. Bournemouth did win the lst game on a Saturday between these teams.
OUR PREDICTION
Liverpool 5 Bournemouth 0
Well at least it won’t be 9-0 this season, or maybe it will. Maybe Chelsea will steal a few of their goals too.
SATURDAY 3PM – WOLVES v BRIGHTON
Brighton have won the last three matches v Wolves, scoring 12 goals in the process. Wolves last won at home v Brighton on a Saturday in 2006 – two losses and five draws ago.
OUR PREDICTION
Wolves 1 Brighton 2
Wolves actually had the better stats than Man Utd from the opening weekend and were unlucky not to win. But they will need luck and more of those stats to beat the swashbuckling Brighton.
SATURDAY 5:30PM – SPURS v MAN UTD
Man Utd are unbeaten in their last five league games at Tottenham (W3 D2). Man Utd have lost just one of the last 19 games on a Saturday v Spurs, including winning ten of the last 11 games.

Spurs 3 Man Utd 1
Big weekend for Australian football – first home game for new manager Ange Postecoglou and the Matildas either playing for first or third. Oh, and Man Utd are playing too.
SATURDAY 8PM – MAN CITY v NEWCASTLE
Man City have won eight straight league games at home v Newcastle and with the combined score of 30-2.
OUR PREDICTION
Man City 1 Newcastle 1
An early blockbusters after the GW1 results? Both sides destroyed their opposition, so now we see whether the new oil money is better than the old oil money.
SUNDAY 2PM – ASTON VILLA v EVERTON
Aston Villa have won the last four games v Everton and are unbeaten in eight (W6 D2). Aston Villa have the H2H advantage on a Sunday as Everton have won just two of 12. Villa have never lost at home to Everton on a Sunday.
OUR PREDICTION
Aston Villa 3 Everton 0
Two teams that disappointed last weekend. Everton at least had a decent expected goals score, but losing 1-0 at home to Fulham isn’t making that sniff of relegation go away.
SUNDAY 4:30PM – WEST HAM v CHELSEA
West Ham have only lost two of their last nine home games v Chelsea (W5 D2 L2). West Ham won the first ever Sunday game between these two teams, and none since. The Hammers record is W1 D6 L5.
OUR PREDICTION
West Ham 0 Chelsea 4
Who knows how many players Chelsea have signed by the time this game kicks off. Money can’t buy you everything, but it will probably buy a win in this game.
MONDAY 8PM – CRYSTAL PALACE v ARSENAL
Crystal Palace are unbeaten in their last three games v Arsenal on a Monday. Crystal Palace have only won one of their last six games v Arsenal at home.
