But which players were the best of the best you ask? We try and make the stats do the talking, and separate the Wheat/Chaff to present the 2023 NRL Round 22 Player Stats and Team of the Week.

On top of the best starting 13, we include the best four interchange players of the week. Seeing who has provided maximum impact from the bench.
Plus we throw in the players we thought were great but the stats did not.

INTERESTING STATS FROM THIS ROUND
- Jahrome Hughes’ four line break assists and four try assists is the second best total assist output for the season behind Scott Drinkwater in Round 18.
- Cameron McInness’ 81 tackles clears the next best by 13 tackles. His previous best for the season was 59.
- Toby Sexton is already up to sixth for most assists per game this season. His six assists in the last two weeks for the Bulldogs is now more than Karl Oloapu and Kyle Flanagan combined.
