For those playing at home that stats below are up to Round 9.

2023 NRL Round 9 Stats Summary

  • Six of the eight winners this weekend scored a try between the 33rd minute and 40th minute. In the other two games Penrith v Wests Tigers saw no tries during that time, and the other saw the Cowboys score in that period but were already being flogged.
  • Five of the eight winners were away from home.
  • Six of the eight teams won despite conceding more or equal the penalties of their opponents this weekend.
  • South Sydney are 4/4 for games vs Top Eight sides (at time of fixture).
  • Cronulla have bucked the Bye trends this season, winning the next three games following their bye. Outside their success, the team that wins the first game after the bye goes on to fail to win the next two games. Alternatively, teams that lose the first game after a bye and won the very next game.
  • Despite their win, the Wests Tigers are yet to win a first half this season.
