The 2023 NRL Season rolls on, and so does our stat-filled preview of the upcoming weekend of rugby league with our 2023 NRL Round 9 Tips Stats Preview + Alternative Tips.
Each week we offer up a quick preview glance for each match, a bunch of barely interesting stats, probably more than one could ever need or want.
We also offer up some alternative tips. These alternative tips are often based on a rugby league stat, and sometimes something completely absurd, and are aimed at those NRL tipsters who just can’t be bothered.
This week for no good reason the NRL alternative tips are based on 2023 NRL Memberships.

Short on inspiration? Or looking for that edge to your tipping that no one else in your competition has? Well here are the Alternative NRL Tips for this round.
This week it is something different. We have found a running total of 2023 NRL Memberships, courtesy of the excellent League Unlimited website.
Our thinking is the more members there are, the more support the club has, the better the players feel and the more likely they are to win.
The clubs with no information got a big fat blank.
Interestingly, the two teams that top the Membership count face off this weekend.
Check the season results at the end.
