Welcome to the GurglerBet Weekend Betting & Sporting Highlights for the weekend beginning 31 March 2023, featuring F1 Australian Grand Prix Betting and much more.
GurglerBet is the Official Betting Partner of The Gurgler website, and it does betting differently.
First of all GurglerBet is the Home of the Fifty Cent bet. That’s not a minimum limit, but the only betting unit. Making responsible betting at the heart of their wagering.
GurglerBet also offer markets that no one can or dares to offer. Either weekly specials or long standing offers to customers.
Note: GurglerBet is also not actually a betting company in case you were wondering how to put a bet on.
But it’s not just all betting, there’s a weekend of sporting action that awaits with our thoughts, and in partnership with our big GurglerBet – Home of the Fifty Cent Bet.

THE GURGLERBET WEEKEND SPORTING HIGHLIGHTS
Here are the GurglerBet choice sporting events for the weekend ahead that you should probably tune into, and a special betting offer from each that you probably won’t find anywhere else.
F1 Australian Grand Prix Betting
RACE – SUNDAY APRIL 2 3:55PM EST
Sunday sees the Australian Grand Prix race run, and although the result looks a mere formality to Red Bull, it is Albert Park, where
Sadly, the Australian Grand Prix is not the first race of the season, so the slightly nervous vibe of a new season starting has gone. But that doesn’t mean there won’t be a tonne of action.
Plus, we have a new Australian in the field to cheer for in Oscar Piastri, but sadly the McLaren looks even more useless than last season.
But don’t let any of the above stop you from tuning in for one of the rare daytime grand prix. For more check out the full preview below.

NRL
FROM THURSDAY
The NRL is already up to Round Five if you can believe it, although this round is a little harder to get excited about after all the rivalries last weekend. Like Broncos v Dolphins, Panthers v Eels, and Dragons v Sharks.
Storm v Tigers wasn’t the biggest game last weekend, but it sure gave up one of the talking points of the weekend, and as the GurglerBet are quick to frame a market. Poor Luke Brooks, and Tigers fans.
This weekend’s pick of the games is probably Roosters v Parramatta on Thursday night, or Souths v Melbourne on the Friday – a game which has he most lop-sided H2H in the NRL.

MOTORSPORT – FORMULA 2 & 3
FORMULA 2 – R1 SAT 2:15PM EST — R2 SUN 12:30PM EST
FORMULA 3 – R1 SAT 10:40AM EST — R2 SUN 10:00AM EST
Formula One might be the big ticket in town this weekend, but lost in all the hype is the arrival of the junior categories Formula 2 and Formula 3 for the first time in Australia.
Formula 2/3 is an unsung hero of the weekend sporting cycle, with slightly less powerful cars, and slightly less talented drivers taking to the same tracks as the F1 teams. The end result is most races being full of incidents and occasionally watching a future superstar before they’re famous.
But the racing is mostly better than the F1 races that follow, so it is worth an investment of your time this sporting weekend.
AFL
FROM THURSDAY
If the above is not enough sport for you, the AFL has a full round of fixtures to come. Collingwood v Richmond on Friday or the Adelaide derby on Saturday look to be the best of the AFL. Both look like good viewing, if the lights stay on long enough.
Talking about light, here’s a GurglerBet Special you won’ find anywhere else.
FOOTBALL – PREMIER LEAGUE
FROM SATURDAY
Those pesky International games are gone, so the proper football can restart, and what a game to start off with – Manchester City v Liverpool. Once a title deciding fixture, that now only applies to 50% of the teams competing in this game. Which Liverpool will turn up, who knows, but it is the early game so still a reasonable hour for the non EPL fanatics.
And it’s a catch up week, with extra fixtures going into next midweek, it’s almost too much football. One of those midweek games is Chelsea v Liverpool. But those games are usually plenty dull, but with both teams in decline this season it may be worse.
In between Arsenal play Leeds, which should see them edge closer to the title. And the eight team relegation battle rages on, with Crystal Palace confirming their relegation club membership with their long winless streak then sacking their manager.
We’re just glad to have the sleepless nights back.

THE GURGLERBET DRAW OF THE WEEK
Just because a game is tied doesn’t mean it is boring or you can’t make money from it. Well, it can still be boring in the greater context of the actual game being played, but not the tension that hanging on to a 0-0 for your bet gets you.
We get our leading draw expert and one half of the synchronised diving team going by the name of Frankely Speaking, Frankington Stanley to scour the many football divisions from all over the world to provide his best draw option for you.
LAST WEEK – Nailed the Guadalupe F.C v Sporting San Jose FC draw in the Costa Rican Primera Division
Kustosija v Cibalia Vinkovci – Croatian Second Division
Odds courtesy of Sportsbet as GurglerBet isn’t a betting company.
SUMMARY
Our man Frankington could hardly have picked a more draw-like game according to the odds – the $2.50-$3.10-$2.50 is prime draw odds.
The form lines up too. Four of the last five meetings between these sides has ended in a draw, including the last three. They are quality draws too with 2-2 the result three times, and the other 1-1.
Kustosija seem to be struggling at home, with their last four games record at L3 D1. But overall their home record this season is W4 D3 L4 with Goals Scored and Conceded at 16. A draw will even things up nicely. Cibalia’s away record is W4 D4 L3 with for and against equal as well.
This screams draw.
So bet early and bet often and don’t be scared to draw.
