A new F1 season is almost here and as ever it will be the biggest and best Formula One season of all time, with multiple new storylines for all the new F1 fans on Netflix. Before that airs, this is the place to keep up with the 2023 F1 Calendar and Season Summary, Stats and more.

Throughout the season this page will be updated to include the race previews and reviews as they happen, and our own Driver Ratings too.

Barely Interesting Fact: Damon Hill became the only driver to win the same grand prix consecutively but across different seasons when he won the season ending Australian GP in Adelaide in 1995 when it was the last race, and Melbourne in 1996 when it was now the season opener.

Or Lewis Hamilton has taken eight pole positions in Melbourne, but has won only twice.

Barely Interesting Fact: Despite overtaking being nearly impossible around Monaco, only 44% of the Monaco GP winners have started from pole position. And between 1984 and 2001 15/18 GPs were won by Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.

Barely Interesting Fact: Last season was the first time since Covid where the pole sitter didn’t win the race. The track in its former glory is where Vittorio Brambilla, who had a reputation for occasionally crashing a car, won his only Grand Prix in 1975 and crashed into the pitwall after the chequered flag.

Barely Interesting Fact: Bertrand Gachot is the only driver in F1 history to set a fastest lap and then be sent to jail before the next race started. His mistake, he was replaced by Michael Schumacher. Decent story that more can be heard of here.
