We also offer up some alternative tips. These alternative tips are often based on a rugby league, and sometimes something completely absurd, and are aimed at those NRL tipsters who just can’t be bothered.

After a disastrous tipping effort in Round One, we have gone left field for the alternative tips this week. But more on that below.

So enjoy the 2022 NRL Round 2 Predictions Stats Preview + Alternative Tips where there’s something for everyone. Mostly.

And in case you missed it, here’s our Wooden Spooners NRL Round 1 Headlines…

2022 NRL Round 2 Predictions – Alternative Tips

Short on inspiration already? Or looking for that edge to your tipping that no one else in your competition has? Well here are the Alternative NRL Tips for this round.

This week’s alternative tips is a pretty absurd, but it’s early in the season and anything can happen.

Having looked at last week’s results, we noticed that a lot of teams won because their nickname/team animal was more deadly than the other. So why not let that ride and use them as the alternative tips for Round Two.

It’s all subjective of course, some are obvious like a Storm being more dangerous than a rabbit or Rabbitoh. And a fire breathing dragon would make pretty light work of a Panther. And an eel would be not much of a match for a shark. But a Bronco more dangerous than a bulldog? Well the dog wouldn’t be well if the horse kicked backwards in its face. Maybe a Cowboy would beat a Raider, although probably not.

Comments and complaints can be directed to your nearest Post Office.

The Storm own a lot of them.
