The new football season is here, and as ever the Football League gets a head start on their richer Premier League cousins, but the 72 teams below are not forgotten about here as we offer up our EFL Football League Predictions GW2.
Each weekend / midweek we will make predictions for all of the Championship, League One, League Two using our in-house method using multiple football stats that will grow throughout the season.
Our EFL Football League Predictions GW2 will work out a H2H% between both sides, and assign a sure fire prediction. Although if it is with 47.% and 52.5% then we call it a draw.

Interestingly, our prediction model has all three relegated sides from the Premier League losing.
Hull have been tipped to upset QPR as the only other promoted side to win this weekend.
The early kick off on Saturday
No early game this weekend om Saturday, which we presume is because the Premier League new season kicks off on Friday night.
Not a great deal to see at this stage of the season, but it is a different way of showing some basic stats.
Note the Expected Goals section for the Championship only at this stage, Blackburn are the stand out for expected goals with four on the gameday 1. Only scoring two goals makes them the worst underperformer for xG v Goals Scored so far. Hull are leading the way for outscoring the expected goals.

Going down a tier it is over to the most competitive leagues in Europe – fallen giants, up and comers, and all the teams in between.
There are 5 draws in the 12 games, so even our computer thinks it will be a close weekend.
As an Ipswich fan we were hoping for a better result against Burton.
