Why have they been such a jerk this month?

Just when it looked like the world may have seen the worst of Coronavirus then comes more lockdowns in Australia, more exotic variants with double and triple mutations.

Sounds like some B Grade horror movie, because it is.

Then there’s the massive outbreak in India with 300,000 to 400,000 case a day. Which will probably flow over to the nearby countries and then what next.

Hopefully soon world wars don’t start due to vaccines.

For now the least we can do is offer up another monthly Jerk nomination and hope things improve.

For people who left the UK to get out of the limelight they are doing a terrible job.

They couldn’t even tone down the one’rs attitude when it came time to mourn the world’s favourite casual racist this month, following up from last month’s nomination for the Oprah interview.

Perhaps it’s not all their fault, either way we’re sick of them. And a nomination is a nomination.

Every few days there will be an article about Covid in the waste water of a certain area, and usually with terms like Warning, Deadly, or threat.

Zero have led to new infections.

But scaremongering about Covid is the pits, isn’t it bad enough to read about without the waste water samples, or the overhyped bad reactions to the jab.

And certainly jerk-worthy.

People who do stuff

Why have they been such a jerk this month?

Let’s be honest, influencers are among the worst people in the history of humanity. 

Never before have so many done so little with so much for so long. And they are followed by wannabes all over the world. And why wouldn’t you want to be one.

Make a video, get some company to pay for a holiday. Pretend you’re not a walking advertising. 

Tell others to live their best life, while you are on a tropical holiday at other’s expense while escaping Covid and lockdown that everyone else has to suffer through at their expense.

This month’s worst example is featured here. We can’t include all of them as it makes the blood too angry.

EUROPEAN SUPER LEAGUE

2 Day old football competition

Why have they been such a jerk this month?

12 of the biggest football teams in Europe/the World teamed up in April to try and destroy football with their proposed European Football League.

It lasted only days as the English football clubs realised that playing in their super rich comp will not mean much if all the fans hate your club and refuse to go to games.

At the end of the day you know it’s only temporary. They’ll be back or push UEFA to do whatever they want anyway with champions League.

People seem to be offended by everything these days, but someone from the ABC being offended that the nation’s most popular cartoon that is loved by adults and children isn’t diverse enough, even when it is plenty diverse takes the cake. It’s not like Home and Away which happens to be the whitest place in Australia
