Premier League Predictions Week 33 – Match by Match

FRIDAY 8:00PM UK

ARSENAL v EVERTON

MATCH STATS

20-21 Premier League Week 33 Arsenal-Everton

Why Arsenal can win

Arsenal have won seven straight at home to Everton by the combined total of 21-6.

Everton have not beaten Arsenal away since Damon Hill won the F1 World Championship in 1996. That’s 26 games without a win with just four draws.

Why Everton can win.

Everton are better away than Arsenal are at home.

Everton are ¾ for away games in London.

Arsenal were a European Super League jerk.

Barely Interesting Stat:

Arsenal have just one point at home to sides from the north west this season, but have yet to score a goal, in four games.

We Say….

Arsenal 1 Everton 1

SATURDAY 12:30PM UK

LIVERPOOL v NEWCASTLE

MATCH STATS

20-21 Premier League Week 33 Liverpool-Newcastle

Why Liverpool can win

Liverpool are now unbeaten in four games and won three of their last four. Newcastle have won two of their last three.

Newcastle have lost all four games away to top six sides by the combined total of 8-1.

Why Newcastle can win.

Newcastle have more points in their last six away than Liverpool do at home in their last six. Losing six in a row at home before their last start win won’t help that stat.

Liverpool have lost their last three home games to bottom six sides.

Liverpool were a European Super League jerk.

Barely Interesting Stat:

Newcastle haven’t won at Liverpool since 1995 – 20 wins and 4 draws for Liverpool.

We Say….

Liverpool 1 Newcastle 1

Sheffield Utd are unbeaten in the last five v Brighton (W3 D2)

Why Brighton can win.

Brighton (D2 L1) are yet to win away from home to a bottom six side.

Brighton would be fifth if the table was decided on Expected Points. Sheffield Utd would climb off the bottom.

Barely Interesting Stat:

This will be only the second ever game between these sides in April. Sheffield Utd have the only win thus far.

We Say….

Sheffield Utd 0 Brighton 0

SUNDAY 12:00PM UK

Barely Interesting Stat:

Fulham and Burnley have played the most games away to middle eight sides this season (at time of playing not current ladder) and Burnley have lost the most games with seven losses in ten games. Both teams have won twice but Fulham have two extra draws.

We Say….

Wolves 2 Burnley 0

SUNDAY 2:00PM UK

LEEDS UTD v MANCHESTER UTD

MATCH STATS

20-21 Premier League Week 33 Leeds-Man Utd

Beat Man City away, easy to beat Man Utd at home.

Man Utd were a European Super League jerk.

Why Man Utd can win.

Man Utd are yet to lose away from home this season.

Man Utd have won the last three at Leeds.

Barely Interesting Stat:

Leeds have drawn all four games at home this season to big six jerks, we mean big six clubs. This is much different to their home form v top six sides which is L4 D1.

Only Man Utd, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Chelsea have not lost to a non big six side on a Sunday this season. Man Utd’s W6 D1 is the most impressive from West Ham’s W4 D1, Chelsea’s W2 or Palace’s W2 D2.

We Say….

Leeds 0 Man Utd 2

SUNDAY 7:00PM UK

ASTON VILLA v WEST BROM

MATCH STATS

20-21 Premier League Week 33 Aston Villa-West Brom

Why Aston Villa can win

Aston Villa have lost just once at home to the bottom six, West Brom have won just once away to the middle eight.

Aston Villa have won the last two meetings.

After failing to beat Leicester West Brom probably can’t survive now, so the wind may be out of their sail.

Why West Brom can win.

Meh

Barely Interesting Stat:

West Brom have never beaten Aston Villa on a Sunday (D4 L2)

We Say….

Aston Villa 1 West Brom 0

20-21 Premier League Week 33 Leicester-Crystal Palace

Why Leicester can win

Crystal Palace are 0/2 for away games v top six sides.

Why Crystal Palace can win.

Leicester have L3 W1 v London sides at home this season. Although they are W4 L1 v middle eight sides at home.

Barely Interesting Stat:

Leicester are due to win if the following pattern continues for games at Leicester…(oldest game first) CRY, CRY, LEI, LEI, CRY, CRY, LEI……..

Since January 1 Crystal Palace have the worst Expected Goals by three goals to the next worst Sheffield Utd. Leicester are only 10th as well.

We Say….

Leicester 4 Crystal Palace 0
