Alternative Week 10 Premier League Predictions – Gurgler v Joe Biden v Donald Trump

Football is in full swing, with ,more games than we know what to do with, it’s getting harder to find winners every week in the Premier League, so to help we offer up our Alternative Week 10 Premier League Predictions.

This week continues our alternative way of selecting Premier League winners from the last few seasons. Sometimes they are based on football stats, and some have a very obscure link to football or news events of that week. Or based on something for no good reason at all.

With the political situation calming down in the US, those who side with Joe Biden will be feeling quite happy now. So why not turn that pro Biden good time feeling into Premier League winners.

To find out why and who, please read on in our Alternative Week 10 Premier League Predictions .

Alternative Week 10 Premier League Predictions – Gurgler v Joe Biden v Donald Trump

With court cases failing, and Joe Biden actually looking like he might get to take over the reigns as US President with less trouble than the previous weeks has previewed, fans of Joe Biden and likely people who don’t like Donald Trump will be happy.

With the doom and gloom of Covid, and not being able to attend football matches in the UK yet, aren’t people entitled to a little happiness.

So using this article from Politico, we have found how each team’s area would have voted in the US Election.

The team’s area who are more Pro Biden than the other will be the most happy, and therefore transmit that good feeling to their team via social media and the like. So that team is more likely to win.

We say anyway. The results are below.

Week 10 Premier League Predictions – Best of Barely Interesting Stats

Here’s the best of the barely interesting facts from the full Premier League Week 10 preview.

Newcastle and Crystal Palace have the lowest and second lowest shots from open play per game this season.

IF Newcastle score two, go straight to your nearest bookies/betting site as they are 8/8 at Selhurst Park when scoring two or more.

No team has had more shots from Open Play per game this season than Liverpool, but Brighton are also sixth. Brighton have the second most shots on the woodwork this season behind West Ham.

All three of Man City’s home games this season have been against sides in the top six on the weekend they face them.

Leeds’ last win in the league at Everton predates the Premier League (1990). The 12 Premier League clashes at Everton have ended in six draws and six Everton wins.

The away side has won six of the last ten games between these West Brom and Sheffield Utd.  Just two wins for the home side in that run.

Southampton and Man Utd have exactly the same Shot on Target per game so far this season. Southampton being more efficient with a nearly 10% difference in On Target %.

Southampton and Man Utd have both scored as many goals as points this season.

Interesting that with both Chelsea and Spurs are in the top six, but neither of these sides have taken a point against top six side this season so far. That will have to change this weekend.

The 6-1 win v Man Utd earlier this season is the only win Jose has managed against his former clubs as Spurs manager.

The last three games at Arsenal have ended 1-1. Neither team has picked up a point after going behind this season.

Leicester scored as many goals at Manchester City earlier in the season as all their home goals this season.

According to Who Scored ratings, Aston Villa are the best side this season. West Ham are a respectable fifth.
