Fantasy Premier League FPL Preview Gameweek 10 – The Watchlist
Here’s a few quick points on players, themes and teams to watch.
- European form doesn’t always mean Fantasy Premier League form – looking at you Jota – but the performances from Spurs and Man City, and especially Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane must count for something.
- Liverpool were surprised by Man Utd, and their front three got nothing from the game, and the assist machines at the back were kept quiet. Will other teams try and replicate the Man Utd tactics.
- Leicester continue to provide loads of FPL value.
- Teemu Pukki gets one more chance v Man Utd, and then sadly it looks like the Pukki Party is over.
- Bottom side Watford may have slowed the slump, and there’s enough good stats in Gerard Deulofeu to keep on a watchlist as a serious FPL option.
- People are jumping on board with Danny Ings, but Southampton have been not good at home this season.
Fantasy Premier League FPL Preview Gameweek 10 – Captain Choices
Below we have three lots of data – Player history v Team, FPL Points from this season per minute, current FPL Form, and a measure from our Fixture Difficulty Ratings published earlier this week.
Add the scores together and you get our Final Score. And for our thoughts below.
WE SAY YES
De Bruyne or Sterling or Agueo are the obvious choices. David Silva a great left field choice.
Outside of the Man City dominance are Jamie Vardy and Callum Wilson, but Man City midfield is hard to go past.
WE SAY NO
Liverpool front three again, perhaps give the Chelsea youngun’s a rest this week.
Fantasy Premier League FPL Preview – Difficulty Factor
We have previous released a new method of determining the difficulty of each team’s games. Based on last year’s form, table position, relative form to opposition, and head to head record, we have a score of 1 (Easy to 10 (Hard). Just a more customised score than the official FPL one.
