Must Watch Games – Champions League Matchday 1
You can’t watch everything, so we have hand picked the 4 best games in our opinion.
TUESDAY – BORUSSIA DORTMUND v BARCELONA
A game that could be the best looking game of football for the season. The Spanish champions aren’t exactly dominating the race at the top currently, Dortmund too have lost one of the first four games.
TUESDAY – NAPOLI v LIVERPOOL
Liverpool snuck past Napoli in the Group stages last season on their way to a Champions League title, so perhaps Napoli are looking for revenge.
WEDNESDAY – PSG v REAL MADRID
It wasn’t long ago that PSG were being handed their now traditional Champions League early exit, but Real Madrid are hardly going much better compared to last season, and their Champions League wins before that. It’s the same manager as the Champions League success. PSG have the Neymar saga, where his own fans boo him, but both he and MBappe could possibly be putting themselves in the shop window for their opponents for next summer.
WEDNESDAY – ATLETICO MADRID v JUVENTUS
It probably won’t be a classic in terms of style, but it should be a tight affair. This is a replay of last year’s knockout finals meeting where Atletico overcame a first leg 2-0 deficit. Cristiano does like to score goals v Huddersfield.

Teams of Interest – Champions League Matchday 1
ATALANTA
The Italian team surprised plenty with their third place finish last season in Serie A, and delighted most who bothered with them with their outstanding attack and loads of goals.
Stepping up to the Champions League will be quite the point on interest, but we feel they will be worth the effort this season.
AJAX
The surprise team of last season’s Champions League has been carved up, and the best cuts O beef ending up at clubs around Europe. But they are used to rebuilding, and signs are good in the Dutch league again this year.
