The Gurgler does like to use some obscure drivers in our Race previews and report, so who better to use than Teo Fabi to determine a race rating system.

So before each race we give a rating out of ten for four key category that are loosely based on each letter of Teo Fabi’s surname. Don’t know who Teo Fabi is, you should.

FAST? 10 / 10 – It is classed as a street track but it seems way too dangerous for that. Fast, sweeping corners, and decent straights means speed-a-plenty. It averages at 250km/h which is faster than Spa and Silverstone.

ACTION? 8 / 10 – Close walls means an incident is never too far away, and with six rookies anf some ordinary regular drivers in the field it could be very interesting.

BIG HISTORY? – 1 / 10 – Another recent-ish addition to the calendar with zero motorposrt heritage but lots of oil to pay for it.

INCLEMENT WEATHER? – 2 /10 The Weather Channel as you’d expect says no chance of rain, but it does say 34 degrees all weekend, which could be uncomfortable for driver and car alike.

RACE POTENTIAL RATING 53% – Fast and/or dangerous, the potential is there for a great race. Just don’t wait for rain if it is boring.
