Newcastle have now won three in a row v Dolphins.
Dolphins have lost six away games in a row.
Dolphins have won only three of 15 away games outside of Qld. One of those wins was at Newcastle in 2023.
Dolphins have won four in a row on a Thursday though. Newcastle have lost four in a row on a Thursday.
Since 2022, Newcastle’s home record v Qld teams is W4 L3.
WARRIORS v MANLY
Warriors (W2 D1) are unbeaten in their last three games at Mt Smart v Manly.
Warriors have won both games v Manly at Mt Smart on a Friday.
Warriors’ record at home on a Friday last season was W1 L3. Overall their 2024 home win record was 40%.
Manly have won just one of their last nine away games on a Friday.
PENRITH v ROOSTERS
Penrith have won ten games straight v Roosters.
Penrith have also won seven home matches in a row v Roosters and last lost to them at home in 2017.
Penrith have also won five in a row v Roosters on a Friday with a last loss in 2018.
Since 2020, Penrith have lost just five of 26 matches on a Friday v Sydney clubs.
Since 2019, Penrith have lost just one of 19 games at home on a Friday v Sydney clubs, with a current run of eight wins.
Roosters have won just three of their last 15 games away to Sydney clubs on a Friday.
ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA v SOUTH SYDNEY
The Dragons have beaten Souths three times in a row at home.
Dragons lead South Sydney five wins to two at WIN Stadium.
St George Illawarra have lost seven straight games v Sydney clubs. Souths have lost four in a row.
The Dragons record at WIN Stadium last season was W4 L2.
Dragons record v Sydney clubs at WIN Stadium on a Saturday since 2010 is W8 L2.
NORTH QUEENSLAND v CRONULLA
Cronulla have won 12 of their last 14 games v North Queensland.
Cowboys did win the 2024 clash in Townsville, but it was six straight losses before that.
Cowboys have won five of their last six at home.
Cronulla have won 10 of their last 13 games away to Queensland sides.
BRISBANE v CANBERRA
Broncos have won 12 of their last 14 home games v Canberra. And six of seven on a Saturday at home overall.
Canberra have the second worst record at Suncorp Stadium of the current NRL teams at 30% win rate. Only the Bulldogs at 29% is worse.
Brisbane have won 14 of their last 17 at home on a Saturday v non Sydney clubs.
Brisbane have lost their last three games at home on a Saturday.
Since 2021, Canberra’s record at Suncorp Stadium is W5 L4. Playing Magic Round games there helped the win %.
PARRAMATTA v WESTS TIGERS
Parramatta have won ten of their last 12 games v Wests Tigers. And four in a row on a Sunday.
But Parramatta have lost their last two at CommBank Stadium to Wests Tigers.
Parramatta’s record at CommBank Stadium last season was W5 L6.
Parramatta have won eight straight games at CommBank Stadium on a Sunday.
Wests Tigers have lost ten away games in a row and won only one of their last 20 away games.
Wests Tigers have lost 11 away games in a row on a Sunday and last won in 2021.
BULLDOGS v GOLD COAST
Bulldogs have won three in a row at home v Gold Coast.
Bulldogs have won three of their last four at Belmore.
Gold Coast have lost five in a row on a Sunday v Sydney clubs.
Gold Coast have won just three of their last 20 away games v Sydney clubs.
