We have reached the halfway stage of the season, and it has taken that 50% mark to be able to have glorious gloat about one of Ipswich Town’s results. Still bottom three, still probably going to get relegated, but at least there’s a slice of glory to take down to the second division if that happens. Talking of glory, our Premier League Predictions Week 20 will probably fall short on glory after a decent return of 7/10 last round, with a few perfect scores too.

TOT v NEW – Newcastle have won four of the last five games v Spurs. There have been 35 goals scored in the last eight league meetings. Newcastle are winless in London this season D1 L3.
MCI v WHU – Man City are unbeaten in 18 League games v West Ham (W15 D3). It’s eight straight wins at home to West Ham for Man City too. Man City and West Ham both have eight points from their last six games.
SOU v BRE – Brentford have won four in a row v Southampton and by a combined 11-1. Southampton now have the outright fewest points scored at home this season. Brentford have the equal fewest points scored away, with Southampton, and neither have an away win. Yet. Brentford are unbeaten v bottom six sides (at time of game) W4 D1.
BOU v EVE – Bournemouth have won three in a row at home to Everton and are unbeaten in their last six home games v Everton (W5 D1). Everton are yet to win away v teams outside the bottom six (at time of match) D3 L3.
AVL v LEI – Leicester have won three of the last five games between these sides at Aston Villa. Aston Villa (W4 D2) are unbeaten v bottom six clubs.
CRY v CHE – Chelsea are unbeaten in 14 matches v Crystal Palace, with the last start draw the only non-win. It’s six straight wins at Crystal Palace for Chelsea. Chelsea’s 2/2 away to London sides this season means they have the only 100% stat this season.
BHA v ARS – Arsenal are unbeaten in their last four trips to Brighton (W3 D1).
FUL v IPS – Fulham are unbeaten on a Sunday this season but have drawn all four games. Also among the Sunday elite are Liverpool (W7 D1), Bournemouth (W2 D2) and Arsenal (W1 D4). Fulham (W6 D2) are unbeaten in eight games v Ipswich. Fulham are winless at home to bottom six sides (at time of game) D1 L1. But are undefeated against promoted sides W1 D2.
LIV v MUN – Liverpool are unbeaten in nine home games v Man Utd W5 D4. It’s 11 without loss on a Sunday for Liverpool, but there are six draws in that run. Man Utd are equal third last for points scored since their new manager took over. Only Southampton and Leciester are lower. Although Man City are only one point better off.
WOL v NFO – Nottingham Forest are first for last six form in the Premier League. Wolves are fifth for last three form. The last four games between these sides have ended in a score draw.
