Souths v Newcastle is the second least frequent game played in the NRL since the Titans entry in 2007 with 22 games. Excluding Dolphins matches since 2023. The least frequent game is Broncos v Wests Tigers with 20 matches.

Roosters have only won two of their last six away games on a Sunday v Qld sides.
Cronulla have won eight in a row v Dragons. And two in a row at Win Stadium. And seven of the last nine on a Sunday.
Cronulla have won all five Sunday games this season. And five games in a row at Shark Park on a Sunday.
