A new season, a new opportunity for Football prognostication, and like many if not all the football fans around the world, hoping for better than last season. Talking of better than last season, here are our Premier League Predictions Week 1.

Each gameweek in the Premier League in 2024-25 we offer up a stat filled prediction preview, with some barely interesting stats and visuals, just enough to bluff your way through various tipping competitions or betting shops.

And stay tuned for the EPL Donkey, who serves up a slightly different view on the Premier League each week.

Barely Interesting Premier League Stats Week 1

Here you’ll find the choicest cuts of barely interesting stats on offer for every fixture this gameweek. Some may assist your tipping, others are barely worth a grunt. Either way, they are all yours.

MUN v FUL – Fulham won the most recent game at Old Trafford v Man Utd. The home side’s record for the last five game v Fulham is W2 D2 L1.

ARS v WOL – Arsenal are also unbeaten in their last 14 Saturday games v Wolves.

NEW v SOT – Newcastle are unbeaten in their last 10 games v Southampton.

WHU v AVL – West Ham are unbeaten in their last 9 games at home to Aston Villa. Villa have curiously scored exactly one goal in the last five games at West Ham.

BRE v CRY – The last three games at Brentford between these sides have ended in a draw.

BRE v CRY – Crystal Palace were unbeaten in four Sunday games last season. Brentford were winless.

CHE v MCI – Both league games were draws last season.

CHE v MCI – Man City are unbeaten in their last four visits to Chelsea W3 D1.
