GENERAL STATS
- Every game was won by the outsider – using odds on the Monday before Round 13.
- It was the first game between these sides on a Thursday.
- The loss broke a run of five straight wins on a Thursday for the Sharks and five in a row on Thursday v Sydney sides.
- It was Parramatta’s highest score since beating the Dolphins 48-20 in June 2023.
- It was the first away win of the season for the Bulldogs, leaving South Sydney and Parramatta as the only winless teams on the road in 2024. It broke a run of 10 straight losses on the road.
- It also broke a run of 12 straight losses away on a Friday. But was only their third win in 21 games on a Friday.
- The two points scored by Newcastle was the lowest since they scored only two points in consecutive weeks in April/May 2022.
- It was the Dragons first win over Penrith since 2017.
- The loss broke a run of 11 straight wins at Penrith Stadium on a Saturday.
- The Dragons have now won three away games this season, which is three more than last season.
- It was the Dragons first win after trailing at half time this season.
- That’s two games in a row between these sides that have been decided by a field goal in golden point time.
- It was the Dolphins first loss on a Saturday this season (played four). For Canberra it’s 50-50 now from four games.
- North Qld have won four of their last five games v Roosters on a Sunday.
- Roosters record v Qld teams since 2020 is W18 L5. But that is only W1 L3 over the same time frame on a Sunday.
