NRL Round 12 Stats Summary – H2H Match by Match Stats and Stuff
All eight games with all the stats you could ever want or need with added barely interesting stats to go with. Giving you a decent wrap up of all that went on in the NRL on the weekend.
- The 44-12 win for the Bulldogs was the first time they have scored over 40 points since a 40-14 win over Brisbane at the same ground in June 2016.
- The 44 points was also the Bulldogs highest ever on a Thursday.
- The Bulldogs are now just one of two teams with a 100% home record this season. Penrith are the other.
- Dragons have won just one of their last nine away games v Sydney teams.
- Dragons have lost four in a row away on a Thursday.
- Wests Tigers are now on an eight game losing streak. The season’s worst current run.
- Despite the eight game losing streak, the Tigers have conceded over 30 points just twice in that run.
- The average points conceded by the losing side in the last three Tigers v Cowboys clash is over 60 points.
- Wests Tigers have played Queensland teams four times this season and lost all. They join South Sydney as teams with no wins against Qld teams this season.
- The Wests Tigers have lost six Friday games in a row and their last six away games on a Friday.
- Cowboys games this season average 52.6 per game, which is the highest just in front of the Rabbitohs at 52.5. Newcastle games see the lowest amount of points on average with 37.2.
- Cowboys have conceded under 20 points in a game just once this season – Round 1 v Dolphins, which was still 18 points.
- Manly have won their last three games at Brookvale v Melbourne.
- Melbourne have now lost five games in a row away on a Friday.
- Canberra have now conceded 40 points or more in back to back games in Canberra.
- Roosters have won 11 in a row away on a Saturday to non-Sydney teams.
- Canberra’s worst day for winning % is Saturday at 45.4% (since 1998).
- The last three times Cronulla have scored zero points were all against Penrith.
- Scoring zero points in the regular season doesn’t necessarily stop you winning a premiership. Penrith scored zero in 2022 as did Melbourne in 2020. Bulldogs in 2004, Newcastle in 2001 and Broncos in 2000 are the others.
- Points weren’t the only zero for the Sharks on Saturday. They are the first team this season to not register a line break.
- Penrith have won seven of their last eight v Cronulla.
- It was Cronulla’s first lost this season v top half opposition.
- Penrith have won 17 of their 19 away games on a Saturday since 2020.
- It was the eighth time since 2020 that Penrith have kept a side scoreless.
- Souths have won seven of their last eight v Parramatta.
- Souths have won six in a row v Parramatta on a Saturday.
- It’s been almost a year since Souths scored 40 points – last done on June 3rd last season.
- Parramatta have lost eight of their last nine away games.
- Parramatta’s losing streak is now five games.
- Gold Coast have won all four games v Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on a Sunday.
- Gold Coast have also won five of the last seven away games v Broncos.
- Broncos have lost their last four Sunday games.
- Since 2016 the Broncos have won just four of 12 homes games on a Sunday.
- Warriors have won five of their last six at Mt Smart Stadium on a Sunday. And six of their last seven there v Qld sides on a Sunday.
- Dolphins have now failed to win four in a row three times.
- Herbie Farnworth’s 13 tackle breaks topped Round 12, but is only third best for single game effort in 2024.
- Dolphins away record outside of Qld isn’t great, with a record of W2 L7.
