2024 NRL Round 12 Tips Barely Interesting Stats Summary

Here we take the best points of interest for each match coming up this weekend and share them with you for no cost. Feel free to share with friends and family. The bold ones are our favourites.

BUL v STGI – Bulldogs are unbeaten at home this season. One of just three teams left with a 100% home record. The last time they won five home games in a row was in 2012.
BUL v STGI – Bulldogs and Dragons have yet to meet on a Thursday.
BUL v STGI – Bulldogs won their last game at the Olympic Stadium on a Thursday, in 2020.
BUL v STGI – Bulldogs have won seven of their last nine v Dragons at the Olympic Stadium.
BUL v STGI – The Dragons have improved from their pointless away record in 2023 with the current season standing at W2 L3. But they have lost both away games on a Thursday this season.

 

NQL v WTI – Wests Tigers have played Queensland teams three times this season and lost all three. They join South Sydney and the Warriors as teams with no wins against Qld teams this season.
NQL v WTI – North Queensland have lost their only Friday game this season. The Wests Tigers have lost five Friday games in a row and their last five away games on a Friday but are yet to play on a Friday this season.

NQL v WTI – The Cowboys home record on a Friday at their new ground is W5 L8.

MAN v MEL – Manly have lost seven of their last nine v Melbourne but have won their last two games at Brookvale. Both of those games were on a Friday.
MAN v MEL – Manly have won just four of their last 14 matches at home on a Friday to non Sydney sides.
MAN v MEL – Melbourne have won both of their Friday games in 2024 so far.

CRON v PEN – Penrith have won six of their last seven v Cronulla. But……Cronulla have won seven of their last eight home games v Penrith.
CRON v PEN – Cronulla have won all six games v top half opposition*.
CRON v PEN – Cronulla are on a winning run of seven games. The last time they won as many in a row (and more) was in their premiership season of 2016.
CRON v PEN – Cronulla have also won five home games in a row. All of their 2024 home games too.
CRON v PEN – But their record at home on a Saturday in recent seasons is a little weaker – just two wins in eight.

SOU v PAR – These teams are in the bottom two for points conceded in the second half – over 18 each.

 

BRI v GCT – Broncos have lost their last three Sunday games. And their last two games on a Sunday v Titans.
BRI v GCT – Gold Coast have won all three games v Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on a Sunday.
BRI v GCT – Gold Coast have also won four of the last six away games v Broncos.
BRI v GCT – Since 2016 the Broncos have won just four of 11 homes games on a Sunday.
