A veteran pop band is preparing to release their first new album in over 20 years.
After the success of their Stan special, ‘Five Fires’ are finally ready to release original music. And they’ve been teasing their fans with regular updates on social media.
Sarah has been busy on the band’s TikTok page promoting the three upcoming singles, with the 10-track album (The Fire is Back) released in October.
“We’re super excited about these new songs as they show off all facets of the band,” said Sarah in a recent video.
“The first song, ‘Girls Night’, is a fun, upbeat dance-pop tune about leaving a doomed relationship and getting back out with the girls to embrace single life again. It’s about having fun and living in the moment.
“The second one, ‘I’m Coming Home’, is a nice little country-pop song about going back to your hometown for the holidays and reminiscing about your old life.
“But the third is one we hope REALLY gets people talking. It’s a beautiful balled called ‘I Wish You Were Still Mine’. It’s about getting over a sad breakup and moving on, only for all the hurt to return when you see on social media that they’ve got a new girlfriend. We want this one to be the BIG anthem and we put a lot of work into making the chorus as catchy as possible. This will be the theme song for all the broken hearts trying – and failing – to move on. EVERYONE loves a big, soaring ballad that gives them all the feels!”
Sarah said all three songs will drop on Spotify in the coming weeks.
“I can’t wait to hear our fans sing along to our new songs when we start The Fire is Back tour in August. And the rest of the album will be just as diverse, with fun songs to get you up and dancing, deep and soulful songs that make you think, and a little bit of stuff in-between.”
