NRL Round 6 Stats Summary – H2H Match by Match Stats and Stuff
All eight games with all the stats you could ever want or need with added barely interesting stats to go with. Giving you a decent wrap up of all that went on in the NRL on the weekend.
- Roosters have won 17 of the last 20 games v Newcastle.
- That was the first ever match between Newcastle and Roosters on a Thursday.
- Newcastle have lost their last four home games on a Thursday. And lost all four Thursday games to Sydney opposition anywhere.
- Newcastle’s home record v Roosters since 1998 is W5 L17
- Roosters are W6 L2 on a Thursday night away to NSW clubs.
- From our NRL Round 6 Player of the Week – Joey Manu’s Run Metres effort is the third best single match effort for our records going back to 2022. And best for Post Contact Metres.
- Melbourne are W4 L1 v Bulldogs on a Friday.
- Melbourne have the two lowest scores for a win this season with 14 v Bulldogs and 8 v Penrith.
- Melbourne have won 15 of their last 17 home games on a Friday.
- Melbourne are taking advantage of early home games – winning all four so far, seven other clubs are still unbeaten at home.
- Bulldogs have won just four of their last 21 away games v non-Sydney clubs.
- Bulldogs have won just two of their last 18 Friday games. In fact, their worst day for winning since 2020 is Friday.
- Selwyn Cobbo now six tries in three games v Dolphins.
- Broncos have won eight of their past nine games v Qld opposition.
- Broncos have won 10 of their past 11 games on a Friday going back to 2023. And are 100% in 2024.
- Broncos are also 100% v Qld sides in 2024.
- Dolphins are W4 L5 v Qld opposition since 2023. Still yet haven’t beaten the Broncos.
- It was the Dolphins’ first loss as the away team at Suncorp Stadium.
- The last two draws in the NRL have both been on a Saturday, both in April, both featured Manly who scored 16 points in the first half in both games.
- Manly are unbeaten in the last three games v Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.
- Warriors have lost 11 of the last 12 games v Manly on a Saturday anywhere.
- Warriors have won just four games of the last 21 times they scored 22 points in a game.
- Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad’s Run Metres may have only been second best this weekend, but it was the fifth best single match effort from 2022.
- Parramatta are W8 L1 at CommBank Stadium v Qld opposition. And won the both games v Qld teams there on a Saturday.
- North Queensland are W5 L13 away on a Saturday since 2020.
- Cronulla’s win broke a run of seven straight losses at the Olympic Stadium v Souths.
- Since leading the competition in Round 11 last season, Souths have won just one of their next six home games on a Saturday. And just two of 11 home games on any day.
- That’s four wins in five games at Campbelltown for the Dragons. Their 80% win record is almost double the Tigers.
- Going back to 2017, the Wests Tigers have lost nine of their last ten games at Campbelltown on a Sunday.
- Wests Tigers have won only one of their last 21 games on a Sunday.
- Canberra have won 12 of their last 14 on a Sunday at home.
- Canberra’s record at home on a Sunday to Qld sides is W15 L6.
- Gold Coast have won just two of their last 21 away games in NSW/ACT.
- They have only won four of the 27 away games played since 2022.
