A Canberra man’s shocking bathroom secret has been discovered.
Adam, a fourth grade cricketer for the Belconnen Bulls, came home from training last night while his girlfriend Sarah was watching TV. And she thought nothing of it when he said he was having a shower.
But she became concerned after 30 minutes had passed and Adam was still in the bathroom.
“He normally has quick showers, so I was surprised he was taking so long.”
A curious Sarah soon went to the bathroom, but was shocked when she peered through the door.
“He was in his undies and practicing his batting infront of the mirror, and using my hairbrush as a bat!”
A flustered Adam tried to explain, but was drowned out by Sarah’s laughter.
“I was testing out on a new trigger movement at training, and I need to get used to it before Saturday,” said Adam. “Sarah was so engrossed in her show, I thought she wouldn’t notice if I did a bit of shadow batting in private.”
“Most of my girlfriends have caught their men ‘enjoying themselves’ in the shower; I’m gonna have fun explaining this on our WhatsApp group,” said Sarah inbetween more laughter.
Though Adam isn’t planning to give up shadow batting. “There’s a full length mirror in the men’s loo at work – perfect for watching my foot movements and making sure I’m getting in the right position before the ball comes. But this time I’ll be more careful so I don’t get sprung.”
