2023-24 English Premier League Week 4 Predictions – Match by Match H2H Stats Previews
Our big, beautiful full visual preview of each game is below.
More stats than you could probably ever want or need, for now.
FRIDAY 7:45PM – LUTON v WEST HAM
Luton have won their last three midweek home games to West Ham.
OUR PREDICTION
Luton 2 West Ham 1
Luton are finally ready for some Premier League football at home in one of the Premier League’s most old school grounds.West Ham started the season as one of the team’s most likely to sack their manager first, and now are second.
SATURDAY 12:30PM – SHEFFIELD UTD v EVERTON
Neither team has scored a point yet this season. Everton haven’t scored a goal yet either.
OUR PREDICTION
Sheffield United 1 Everton 1
This would be an early relegation six pointer except both of these teams will probably go down anyway.
SATURDAY 3PM – MAN CITY v FULHAM
Man City have won 14 straight v Fulham. And nine straight at home. And ten wins on the trot on a Saturday.
OUR PREDICTION
Man City 2 Fulham 0
Could be any ol’ score in this fixture. Except a Fulham win. Although, they did equalise with player down last weekend v Arsenal.
SATURDAY 3PM – BRENTFORD v BOURNEMOUTH
Brentford have avoided defeat in their last five games v Bournemouth (W4 L1) on a Saturday.
OUR PREDICTION
Brentford 2 Bournemouth 1
Should be an entertaining clash between two midfield teams with substance. Which should be a lot of fun.
SATURDAY 3PM – BURNLEY v SPURS
Spurs have scored exactly two goals in all three games thus far this season.
OUR PREDICTION
Burnley 1 Spurs 2
The Ange love-fest and bandwagon continues to grow. Bunley’s tough run to start the season continues.
SATURDAY 3PM – CHELSEA v NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Chelsea drew both of their games v Nottingham Forest last year. Nottingham Forest last won at Chelsea in 1995 (W7 D2 to Chelsea since)
OUR PREDICTION
Chelsea 5 Nott’m Forest 0
Chelsea have finally looked to have found some form. Bad news for Nottingham Forest who blew a two goal lead v Man Utd last weekend, and were terrible on the road in 2022-23.
SATURDAY 5:30PM – BRIGHTON v NEWCASTLE
Four of the last five games at Brighton v Newcastle have ended in a draw.
OUR PREDICTION
Brighton 2 Newcastle 2
Game of the round according to us. Two teams on the verge of breaking into the big six club.
SUNDAY 2PM – CRYSTAL PALACE v WOLVES
Crystal Palace have won three straight v Wolves. Both of the Sunday games at Crystal Palace against Wolves have ended 1-1.
OUR PREDICTION
Crystal Palace 3 Wolves 1
The poor man’s fixture of the 2pm kick offs this Sunday. One for the diehards and/or problem gamblers.
SUNDAY 2PM – LIVERPOOL v ASTON VILLA
Liverpool have won all six Sunday games at home to Aston Villa. Aston Villa haven’t beaten Liverpool since Oct 2020 when they smashed Liverpool 7-2.
OUR PREDICTION
Liverpool 1 Aston Villa 1
Both sides came into game with good away wins, but Liverpool’s win cost them their best fullback. Although, Liverpool’s defense hasn’t been that great so far. Aston Villa have sure turned around their 5-1 loss on the opening weekend.
SUNDAY 4:30PM – ARSENAL v MAN UTD
The home side have won this fixture four times in a row, and scored exactly three goals on each occasion. Arsenal have won four in a row v Man Utd on a Sunday.
OUR PREDICTION
Arsenal 3 Man Utd 2
Decent game to end the fourth gameweek. Both sides have underwhelmed to a degree so far this season, and we look forward to one or both sides whelming us this Sunday. Otherwise the red pen might be coming for title chances already.
