- Parramatta, who sit 11th on the ladder, have scored the most points in the NRL this season. Meanwhile Penrith have conceded 110 less points than the next best – Warriors.
- Penrith concede fewer points per game against top half opposition (at time of match) than lower half opposition – 9.7 pts v 14.9.
- It was only the second time all season when the Gold Coast have won after trailing at half time. It was also the second time the Cowboys had lost after leading at half time.
- Five of the six teams that scored between the 30th and 40th minute in Round 22 won.
- Tigers remain winless on a Friday night in 2023 – four games.
- Penrith have now won nine in a row at home on a Saturday.
- Bulldogs have won three of four games v Qld sides this season.

Top eight is any team in the top eight heading into the weekend. Bottom eight is the bottom nine teams, and we forgot to change it from bottom eight in 2022.
