In the pursuit of a scoop, our Melbourne-based Wooden Spooners Staff Writers spent a few hours on Sunday morning looking to get the Storm fans’ reaction to their fourth straight loss. Are they panicking? Do they still have faith in Craig Bellamy to turn things around before September? Should the Storm just relocate to Queensland already?
Unfortunately, our Staff Writers couldn’t find any Storm fans in the Melbourne CBD, but we did find plenty of Carlton, Collingwood, and Essendon fans on their way to Marvel Stadium and the MCG.
Not wanting to waste a pleasant, sunny day, the Staff Writers played touch footy at a nearby park and then went to a pub to watch the Canterbury-Bankstown v Gold Coast/North Queensland v Wests Tigers double header.
