EVERYDAY NEWS – TV Mobile Game Disappoints

A new mobile game based on a popular TV show has proved underwhelming.

Peter is a fan of crime drama Rescue Force, and was looking forward to playing the free mobile/iPad game.

Unfortunately, that enthusiasm didn’t last long.

”It’s absolute garbage!” said Peter. “All you do is send crew members out on rescue missions, wait a certain amount of time for the mission to finish, collect the cash, send out a new team, upgrade the headquarters with the cash you earn, rinse and repeat. You don’t even see any cool rescues! Obviously they wanted to cut corners on the animation budget so they could make more money off the b*****t micro-transactions you can use to speed things up!”

While Peter enjoyed the accurate in-game text dialogue, he uninstalled the game after 30 minutes and left scathing reviews on the Android Play Store and his favourite Rescue Force Facebook fan group.

”Serves me right for thinking a ‘free’ mobile game would actually be good! They may release a proper console version one day, but I’m not holding my breath,” said Peter as he sat down to rewatch Rescue Force season one (for the third time) to make himself feel better.

Everyday News is a brand new general news/parody section of The Gurgler, and definitely not a lame rip-off of ‘The Betoota Advocate’. We swear.
