Welcome to our weekly look at the upcoming weekend of NRL. Even though Round 13 is a half-arsed round with just four games and Origin stars out, our Round 13 Predictions Stats Preview + Alternative Tips is still here in full.
Each week we offer up a quick preview glance for each match, a bunch of barely interesting stats which seem to be growing every week, our own Form-O-Meter on which side is hot and not, and our own thoughts on who will win.
We also offer up some alternative tips. These alternative tips are often based on a rugby league stat, and sometimes something completely absurd, and are aimed at those NRL tipsters who just can’t be bothered.
This week we’ve gone back to basics with a new month and have tips based on results from June since 1998.
So enjoy the 2022 NRL Round 13 Predictions Stats Preview + Alternative Tips where there’s something for everyone. Mostly.

2022 NRL Round 13 Barely Interesting Stats Summary
Here we take the best points of interest for each match coming up this weekend, and share them with you for no cost. Feel free to share with friends and family.
Gold Coast and North Queensland have never met on a Thursday.
Gold Coast have won four games in a row at home v Queensland sides.
Gold Coast have played nine games this season against top eight sides (top eight at the time of the match) and have lost all of them.
North Queensland have the worst record in June since 1998 of all the NRL clubs.
Only North Queensland, Penrith and Roosters have a positive for and against v top eight teams this season.
Although more barely interesting than relevant, Penrith played three times in June in 2019, and scored 19 points in all three games. And they won all three too – two by the same score of 19-18.
The Bulldogs last win on a Friday pre-dates Coronavirus.
The 12 points the Bulldogs scored against Penrith earlier this season was 8 more than the total of their three previous meetings with the Panthers.
Manly have won nine of the last 10 matches v Warriors on a Saturday. Manly are also on a run of five straight wins on a Saturday v all teams.
Despite technically playing away for three seasons, the Warriors have won just two of their last 15 games as the designated away twam.
The Roosters have won 11 of their last 12 games on a Sunday against all teams. The only loss in that run was to Canberra.

2022 NRL Round 13 NRL Team Form O Meter
We have our own in-house way of measuring which team is going the best based on a bunch of available stats. Like Run Metres, Line Breaks, Tackle Busts, Tries, Goals, Errors, Tackles, Post Contact Metres and more.
We have also taken it to the next level with an average of the 2022 season score and last five rounds. Although, even we’re starting to doubt it given how bad Souths have played the last two weeks.
