NRL | 2022 NRL Round 6 Predictions Stats Alternative Tips

Who can believe we are five games down already, it only seems like yesterday we were anticipating round one of the 2022 NRL season. So our weekly reality check is here with the NRL Round 6 Predictions Stats Preview + Alternative Tips.

Each week we offer up a quick preview glance for each match, some barely interesting stats to go alongside, and our own thoughts on who will win.

We also offer up some alternative tips. These alternative tips are often based on a rugby league, and sometimes something completely absurd, and are aimed at those NRL tipsters who just can’t be bothered.

This week we have used the Climate Change protesting pitch invader from last week to determine this week’s tips, but more on that later.

So enjoy the 2022 NRL Round 6 Predictions Stats Preview + Alternative Tips where there’s something for everyone. Mostly.

And in case you missed it, all the biggest exclusive stories from last weekend’s action is in  our Wooden Spooners NRL Round 5 Headlines…

2022 NRL Round 6 Predictions – Alternative Tips

Short on inspiration already? Or looking for that edge to your tipping that no one else in your competition has? Well here are the Alternative NRL Tips for this round.

This week’s alternative tips is based on the pitch invader from last weekend’s Sharks v Tigers game. The one who is now looking at jail time who brought a flare onto the field near players and wasn’t pole-axed like the Gold Coast counterpart.

So we have used Election Results from the 2019 Federal Election, and determined who has the higher % of Greens voters in each team’s electorate. Our thoughts are the higher the Greens voting %, the higher the likelihood of a climate action pitch invader with a flare, so the team with the higher Greens vote will be more wary, more distracted than the other team and be more likely to lose.

Complicated for no good reason. You know it is.

Ironically, the Storm have the highest Green voting % of the NRL teams, given climate.
