Cynics and critics of this website have accused us of wheeling out the same old people and the same old crap every month, which is fair enough to a certain degree, but also up yours. Is it our fault all these awful, awful people keep doing the same thing to make the Jerk of the Month list? Or if the others who aren’t regulars simply can’t help themselves.
And we just supply the nominations, we don’t get a vote.

The 2021 Jerk of the Year winner has certainly started the year off like a man who doesn’t want to relinquish the Jerk of the Year title. He hasn’t won a 2022 monthly award yet, but has been a podium finisher.
In fairness, he’s had a lot to do in his current term, but that certainly doesn’t excuse doing most of it poorly.
His performance in assisting flood affected areas was almost as bad as his Hawaii trip while the country burned. Then is in parliament lapping up the Ukraine President via video call, completely unaware of the irony of himself watching a real leader in a real situation, when he was called on to serve his country was sipping cocktail poolside half a world away.
With Covid being forgotten about by most media, he has needed other outlets to showcase his incompetent boobery. The floods in SEQ and Northern NSW provided just that.
His response was so bad that surfer Kelly Slater ripped into him.
Or the appalling way he handed out assistance funds after the flood. Giving money to Local Governments only under LNP power only.
His stage managed performance in Lismore was just the perfect illustration about what he’s about.
Being taken to court by his own party members over interference in pre-selection for the upcoming election.
Accused of using race against an opponent when trying to get into his seat back in the day.
He ran Putin close last month, which is a good sign that he is pretty unpopular. And a disgrace at the same time really.
March 2022 Jerk of the Month may be the last vote he wins this year.
