Welcome to the GurglerBet Weekend Specials & Highlights for this weekend and beyond, where we bring you the best of sports and betting action ahead.
GurglerBet is the Official Betting Partner of The Gurgler website, and it does betting differently.
First of all GurglerBet is the Home of the Fifty Cent bet. That’s not a minimum limit, but the only betting unit. Making responsible betting at the heart of their wagering.
GurglerBet also offer markets that no one can or dares to offer. Either weekly specials or long standing offers to customers.
But another weekend of sporting action awaits, as is our big weekly GurglerBet weekend preview.
THE GURGLERBET WEEKEND SPORTING HIGHLIGHTS
Here are the GurglerBet choice sporting events for the weekend ahead that you should probably tune into, and a special betting offer from each that you probably won’t find anywhere else.
BIG BASH FINAL
FRIDAY 28th 6:40pm AEDT
Yes the Big Bash is nearly finally over.
After possibly the most meh-diocre season of Big Bash yet, we have finally reached the final.
Of course, like everything else on earth we could blame Covid for the lack of excitement for this year’s Big Bash, or the continued dross served up by the Brisbane Tepids, but what will they have to blame things on next year. Well, presuming Covid has buggered off by next year.
This year’s final sees the over achievers of the competition meet again, and a replay of the first ever Big Bash final (won by Sixers).
Both sides have already won three titles, and the Sixers are going for a hattrick having won the last two obviously.
These sides have also met four times in the final, with wins at two a piece. So it is a decent match up historically for finals.
The side interest will be moaning about Sydney Sixers not being able to play Steve Smith. Which just about sums up the Big Bash.
GURGLERBET SPECIAL – Fox Cricket will show that Brett Lee Run Out Moment more than once @ $1.000000000000000000001
GURGLERBET SPECIAL – Either team hits a Six off the last ball to win the Final @ $10

FA CUP 4TH ROUND
FROM EARLY SATURDAY MORNING (AEDT)
The Fourth Round of the FA Cup is a really underrated weekend of football. The third round, where all the lower division teams meet the top two tiers is exciting, but so is the next round where a few of the smokies have snuck through, and some Premier League teams have been wiped out.
Non League team Kidderminster Harriers made it through Round Three (thanks to an ordinary Reading) so they will be one of the focus teams for the fourth Round. They currently sit fourth in the sixth tier National League North and are taking on Premier League top four hopefuls West Ham.
Boreham Wood are the other team from outside the top four divisions, and they take on second tier front runners Bournemouth.
It would take some arrogant resting of players to give either Non League side a chance of winning, but can’t completely rule out either.
As for upsets of the higher division teams, we normally look for non Big Six Premier League teams playing lower league teams with a better points per game for both season and last six. Which leads us to offering the following cupsets.
COVENTRY v Southampton
NOTTINGHAM FOREST v Leicester
Combine both of those for a $22 collect from $1
Odds from Sportsbet as GurglerBet isn’t a real betting company.
GAMES TO WATCH
MAN CITY v FULHAM
Man City will no doubt rest a few of their stars, but may not want to rest too many.
Fulham sit five points clear at the top of the Championship with a game in hand, mirroring the domination of the league like Man City. But it is the goals that should make this game interesting.
Fulham have scored 73 goals already this season, at a rate of 2.7 per game. And 22 goals in their last four games (all wins). With Man City going at 2.4 goals per game as well, it should be high scoring.
KIDDERSMINSTER v WEST HAM
Sixth tier team v fifth place Premier League team should be good viewing, even if West Ham look likely to win. But they do have form of losing to lower league sides like Wimbledon last season.
And it’s at the lower league ground which always makes it more fun. ore likely to be an upset.
AFCON aka AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS
QUARTER FINALS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT
The Africa Cup of Nations football reaches the Quarter Finals stages this weekend, so as good a time than any to jump on the bandwagon.
Egypt are still in for the many Mo Salah fans out there, and there’s still African Football big names like Senegal, Tunisia and hosts Cameroon in the running.
But we’d better have an underdog too, and that goes to Gambia who are ranked 150th in the world. Most of the other nations left are in the top 60 in the world or so.
GURGLERBET SPECIAL – All remaining AFCON games (8) decided by a Penalty Shootout @ $100
THE GURGLERBET DRAW OF THE WEEK
Just because a game is tied doesn’t mean it is boring or you can’t make money from it.
We get our leading draw expert Frankington Stanley to scour the many football divisions from all over the world to provide his best draw option for you.
