RACE – FIRST LAP NET PROGRESS

Who’s gaining or losing on the first lap?

Kimi Raikkonen continues to be the first lap king, with twice as many positions gained on lap one that the nearest competitor, But the Mexican Grand Prix saw a rare off day for Kimi off the grid.

Gasly was the worst driver for lap one gain this season up until this race but was overtaken this race by Valtteri Bottas. Happily though for the second time this season he gained a place on the first lap.

Bottas’ -17 place start sees him last, but overall he’s only made places on lap one twice.
