Both teams are awakening from their early season slumber and had good wins last weekend. Early kick off.

Chelsea have only won three of their last ten visits to Newcastle (W3 D2 L5). They have won just once in their last six trips to Newcastle on a Saturday. But the last start was a win.
Newcastle have won five of the six clashes in Newcastle in October.
Newcastle have lost both home games v London clubs this season. They have also lost three from three against top six sides (at time of playing them).
Chelsea are 4/4 this season for playing bottom six clubs (at time of playing) with a goal return of 15-1.

Burnley have won four in a row v Brentford. The Bees last won in 1997 when the Championship was called Division Two.
Burnley have zero points and zero goals v London clubs this season. They have only played one game though.
Brentford are second best for expected goals against.
Burnley won 1/6 v promoted sides last season and scored the equal fewest goals.

Watford scored five last weekend v Everton and Burnley scored two v Southampton so anything can happen.
WHAT ARE THE BARELY INTERESTING STATS?
Watford last scored five goals in EPL v Cardiff 5-1 win in Feb 2019. Cardiff were relegated that year.
Southampton have lost just one of the last 14 clashes with Watford (W7 D6 L1) going back to 2009 with Watford’s only win coming in 2017.
Watford haven’t won at home v Southampton since 2007 – eight home games ago.
More than half of the top flight games between these sides at Watford have ended in a draw.
