WHAT ARE THE BARELY INTERESTING STATS?
Aston Villa have won the last three matches v Arsenal.
The home side has never lost a Friday clash when these teams meet. (W3 D1)
Arsenal (W5 D2) haven’t lost to Aston Villa in October since 1976.
Aston Villa are yet to beat a London opponent in four attempts this season.

Five of the last six games between these sides on a Saturday have ended 1-0 – four to the home sides and one to the away team. The only other game in that six game run was a 0-0 draw.
Since the 1992-93 EPL season, Crystal Palace have won just two of 12 matches v Newcastle at home.
Newcastle are one of only two teams not to have kept a clean sheet so far this season. Other team is Wolves. They have also scored in all but one game too.

Brentford are always a team to watch, and after Leicester’s big win last weekend they’ll be confident. Plus there have been 14 goals scored in total in Leicester’s last three matches

Brentford haven’t beaten Leicester since 1957. It’s W7 D1 for Leicester in those subsequent eight games.
Last season’s Cup fixture was the first time these teams met on a Sunday. Leicester won 3-1.
Brentford have won just two of 15 matches at home v Leicester.
Leicester were one of four teams with a 100% winning away record v promoted sides last season. None of the other three were a big six club either. Aston Villa, Everton. and Aston Villa.
