The 2021-22 Football League season is at full steam now with the first of the midweek rounds already here and to celebrate we offer up our EFL Football League Predictions GW3.
Each weekend or midweek we will make predictions for all of the Championship, League One, League Two using our in-house method using multiple football stats that will grow throughout the season.
It takes away any in-house bias as a long-term Ipswich Town fan or a recent AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe enthusiast.
Our EFL Football League Predictions GW3 will work out a H2H% between both sides, and assign a sure fire prediction. Although if it is with 47.% and 52.5% then we call it a draw.
Plus we’ll throw in stats for each division as they seasons continues.

Here are the first midweek EFL Football League Predictions of the season.
Our first effort of the season last weekend gave us a reasonably average 42% winning strike rate. We shall improve this week surely.
There are games on both Tuesday and Wednesday to share the love.
With some more 2021-22 data the H2H % gap grows a bit and there’s fewer draws according to our prediction system than last weekend. Although, we did correctly pick a few draws in GW2.

Not a great deal to see at this stage of the season, but it is a different way of showing some basic stats.
Note the Expected Goals section for the Championship only at this stage, Blackburn are the team to follow with plenty of goals expected for and against.

Going down a tier it is over to the most competitive leagues in Europe – fallen giants, up and comers, and all the teams in between.
There are no draws predicted for this midweek round, nor is there an Ipswich Town win either. Luckily we don’t get them all right.

There’s a few games missing, with only 10 scheduled and one of those now postponed due to Covid.
