NRL Round 22 Tips Alternative – Gurgler v NRL Memberships Growth + Barely Interesting Stats

Queensland have seen off another lockdown, but before the inevitable happens and another comes around, we’d better squeeze in a few rounds that people can go to and watch. Our Alternative NRL Round 22 Tips return from lockdown with a mask on with a strict limitation of one correct tip per two squared metres.

Alternative tips you ask? Well each week we offer up some alternative NRL tips based on a new theme, and occasionally it will have nothing to do with rugby league. Just the way we like it. This week it is about each team’s membership base, as teams will need this more than ever.

In addition to the tips are a whole bunch of barely interesting stats for the round of NRL ahead. Impress your neighbours (socially distanced of course), cheer up those in hotel quarantine, or read them out as punishment for anyone breaking lockdown protocols.

Good luck with your Alternative NRL Round 22 Tips if you choose to use them.

NRL Round 22 Tips Alternative – Gurgler v Membership Growth

METHOD TO THE MADNESS

Since there are reduced crowds, which is infinitely better than the Commodore 64 generated background noise on TV, all NRL teams won’t get the same support they are used.

So these teams will have to draw that inspiration from somewhere. We say it could be those loyal members who make the difference.

Sure most of them can’t attend their teams games, but they still love them all the same.

In fact, most clubs have increased their memberships this year.

So we say whoever has the biggest boost in Memberships from 2020 to 2021 is a club in better shape with happier fans, and that feel good factor will flow through to the team. So the best membership growth gets the tip.
